It means a lot to be there for a romantic proposal, capture engagement photos, and later be asked to photograph the wedding for the same couple. It really does. It is a complete honor to be there each of these steps of the way. The wedding day was the culmination of the meaningful experiences I've had the privilege to be a part of with Grace and Dan, and it did not disappoint. Everything was beautiful, and this couple and their families were very warm, relaxed, and fun to be around. It truly was such a beautiful day!
Both the bride and groom looked wonderful.
Dan was absolutely beaming when he saw Grace walk down the aisle.
The mother of the bride was already crying just watching the joy on her son-in-law's face.
Are they not a beautiful couple?
Grace, you are gorgeous.
We braved the cold for just one pose, a shot of Grace and Dan on Main Street. Traffic was very busy that night, so we were rushing back and forth to steal a shot whenever there was a break in traffic! It was kind of crazy, but I felt like it was so worth it! :)
The reception decor was simple but oh-so elegant! The center pieces featured roses suspended in water. I've never seen something quite so unique and . . . romantic!
Both of the toasts were funny and sweet, but the best man took the cake . . . on accident.
He closed out his thought-out speech by saying (and I paraphrase): "Here's to your marriage!" As he sat down and lifted his glass, he casually added, "And many more!"
Oh, the laughter that ensued! I doubt if anyone could remember a single thing he said before that. :)
