Margaret & Luke :: Married!!

Margaret and Luke had a wedding day that would be hard to forget!  I spent the whole day surrounded by some of the sweetest people that exist.  Add my fabulous second shooter, Cindy, to the mix, and it was just about perfect!

I met Margaret and her sisters last December, and I had been super excited for her wedding ever since!  These girls made the day so full of enthusiasm and love!  The day was every bit silly/fun and beautiful.  Just like Margaret!    Let the photos tell you the story for a while . . . .

Looking super beautiful and ready to go!

The Basilica of  St. Louis, King of France is a beautiful chapel, right in the shadow of the Arch.

Because this was a Catholic ceremony, I was not allowed on the altar steps.  However, the priest was so considerate as to have the couple come to the edge of the steps so it was no problem to capture the emotion on their faces!

Luke high-fived the guests during the recession . . . loved it!

Luke is one smooth operator . . . .

Every bride has the right to be silly on her wedding day!  While looking gorgeous, especially!

The Third Degree Glass Factory was gorgeous all decked out.

Congratulations, Margaret and Luke, on your perfect day and on the beginning of your wonderful life together!  Thanks so much for choosing me to capture these memories for you! :)

Also, special thanks to Salon Basia, who did the bridesmaids' and bride's hair, Amanda Willson, who did fabulously on the bride's makeup, and to Kenny J. of Complete Music, who kept the crowd going all night long!

Brynne & Bryson :: Engaged!

Beautiful, golden, sunset light.  That's what I had in mind for this session.  However, when it rained off and on all day and left us with a cloudy evening, we rolled with it.  Brynne and Bryson weren't worried at all!  And the weather made it so much fun.  We had dramatic clouds, sparkling sprinkles, and one super cute couple!

Brynne and Bryson have been dating for 3 1/2 years!  They met in college, where he spent pretty much her whole freshman year wearing her down until she wanted to date him!  Even though they come from different parts of the state, both grew up in a sailing family.  That made this marina engagement session just perfect for the two of them!

Their wedding is set for April.  It will actually be on the very day of their 4 year dating anniversary!  How perfect!

It seems that white gold is all the rage these days, so it is so refreshing to see Brynne's beautiful, yellow gold ring!  It looks so very classy.

These shots were a must-have, because this cute couple actually met through the swim team!

We ended the evening on the beach . . . such a romantic spot!

We finally had to call it a night as it began to sprinkle more and more heavily.  But not before getting a few shots that captured the sprinkles, and Brynne & Bryson's love, in glowing light!

Thanks so much, Brynne and Bryson, for a fun evening!  I absolutely can't wait for your wedding in April!!

Casey, John, Avery, and Amelia

Avery and Amelia, how big you two are getting!  It feels like it was just a short while ago that I was photographing Amelia's newborn session!  And Avery had only recently turned 1!  Now, can it be true, Avery is turning 2 and Amelia is 8 months old!
Casey and John, thanks for coming to me to document your beautiful, growing family!

Maybe this is off-topic, but I have to say that strawberry blonde has always been my favorite color of hair, and Casey, your shade is just gorgeous!!  Can I borrow your hair for a day? ;)

Little Amelia is so much more grown-up than the newborn I last saw!  Still such a pretty baby!

Avery is one high energy little girl!  I spent most of her photo time chasing her with my camera, haha!  But she did stop to pose for me every once in a while :) That is, with the help of two grandmas and mom & dad!

Peek-a-boo!

Oops!  I didn't pull this flag out of the ground . . . no, it must have been someone else . . . really!

I loved the beautiful flowers and well-kept landscaping at Blanchette Park's garden.  It was the perfect spot for a dry summer session!

Amelia was so great at doing what she does - being cute. :)

Thanks again to a lovely little family!  I can't wait to see the girls continue to grow up! :)
